From what I can gather from news photos this is a steel framed building. Fires raged on the lower floors of this 7 story structure. There is even speculation that he also had explosives on-board.
ReplyDeleteFrom the number of blown out windows, especially those at great distance from the collision site, would tend to lead credence to that theory.
Yet the building still stands. No molten steel!

All the finishes stripped or burned away, steel structure still intact.

The building didn't vaporize because the pilot's name was Joseph and not Muhammed.
