While working on the Gil Scott-Heron show I found where his piece "The Revolution Will Not Be Televised" was a statement to the conditions in the early 1970's when the Media fought with the government for the ability to tell the truth.

Things have certainly changed.
The Media is now the mouthpiece of the government running in lockstep, trampling the Constitution and exhibiting all the symptoms we ascribed to Russia during the Cold War.
