What a marvelous thing to wake up to! If you don't want to register at OpEd News, you can just hit the iTunes button and listen to it on iTunes.

AND, OF COURSE, YOU REALLY SHOULD, BECAUSE IT'S NAOMI, AND SHE'S RIGHT!

Of course, as usual.

It's a little irritating because they keep making her stop to explain terms like "oligarchy" and "open vs. closed society" but... if that's what it takes... fine!

Back before Jeans West/GAP bought the Banana Republic, which was this WONDERFUL little boutique in Mill Valley that sold outrageously chic military surplus clothes, their bags had this wonderful doodle all over them, with a big peace sign and a bunch of other stuff, and the logo read: DON'T BE STUPID — CHOOSE LOVE. I saved their bags and tacked them up on my walls.

Naomi must have shopped there too....
