Or heart... or... both.

Payday Loan University?

Even if you managed to dodge all the traps, you're still not safe. And the government is there to prop up the criminals ruining your life for fun, for profit, for drill.

  1. I saw that Frontline 99...it was a great demonstration of why America has been made dumb.
Education; from elementary, middle school HighSchool and now post secondary have become simply factories of ignorance. Now this guy Michael Clifford has made a way to capitalize on that ignorance...

R.I.P America...she lost her exceptionalism shortly after WWII...she finally passed away sometime during the Reagan administration...Bush I&11, Clinton and Obama have simply presided over the memorial services for this once almost great nation...

Uncle Sam says (like Fred Sanford)..."Rome, Greece and Egypt; this is the big one, I'm coming to join you honey"

  2. 15 years ago my wife attended American River College, a 2 year community college.
These colleges were supported by the state and tuition was cheap. She was paying about $60 a semester for tuition in two classes - $10 per credit. The University system was running around $200 a unit when I took some courses at the University of California in Davis around the same time.

Now my daughter is going to American River. Tuition now is around $90 per credit. Her current two courses are running her over $500.
And the books - OMG - one "book" she had last semester cost $135. It consisted of a paper binder with all the book pages loose inside.
The figgin thing wasn't even bound! Could have been made on a copy machine for under $20!

Granted, these fees are dirt cheap compared to other university systems and other states, but with health insurance costing more than our mortgage and her inability to find a full time job, it is almost out of reach for her and us to get her through.
