It's been back raining hard since late this afternoon. At least it isn't so damn cold. It finally isn't hail. The wind is barely happening. No thunder and lightning. It's just raining and raining and raining.

  3. 89 degrees, 85% humidity the last 2 days...

    WTF?

    Is this the gulf coast?

(Today 70's and overcast - showers predicted)

  4. It stopped raining about 1am when the wind started howling. It's been cloudy and windy all day and there's just now a spot of blue showing.

Temporary, no doubt. I mention conditions and they change immediately.

  5. Lots of records broke here this spring - many record lows overnight, record low daily high temperatures, record rains - although for the year we are at 95% of normal, latest day of the year to reach 80, latest day of the year to reach 90.

Plus huge swings in temperature, many which were more than 30 degrees from one day to the next.

  6. And the last week the humidity has been insane - usually 15 to 20% this time of year it has been in the 80% range.

  7. No rain today, and the wind has died down. Mostly cloudy, about 60 degrees. However, I'm in a murderous mood.

  10. I want that photo or the one with the pelican spreading its wings screaming to the sky, 4 columns wide, on the front page of every newspaper in this country...

(Never happen, not even 1 column, below the fold, on page B9)
