old movies got me into this mess to begin with

They were always on the tube when I was a kid. They taught me everything I knew, and now want to unknow, to root out of my universe of defaults. So I'm watching these things with an eye to the kinds of social conditioning inhering them... and other clues.

One thing that has always struck me as absurd are the love affairs in old movies.... I mean, it was NOT just Bond who dropped every woman he set his beam on. Nope. Romancers of every stripe could buckle the knees of just about any woman merely by looking deeply into her eyes and saying something so sugary my teeth ache at the thought. I've even met men who think the sight of them naked or semi-naked should put any woman under their spell. Old movies did it.

This, of course, is only the most obvious bullshit to subvert the credulous and the extremely young. Lots more is taught via these subtle means, and I aim to contemplate it.

Look at it this way: Only people with megbucks will be able to do it. There is great risk of burning up on reëntry, and WHAT could be better than that?

Ah, the immortal "job". If Malcolm X starts knocking on yer eyeballs, will it become more important than the job? It needs to, you know, unless the gangstas get hold of the right weapons for messing with reëntry. Just like labor unions, people need to start paying into pools to keep each other happening while we fight this shit. I'm working hard on getting some REAL organizers mobilized. Time they stopped squishing you with your own love for your family. People don't realize that whatever would be right for them to do if it were just them, is STILL right for them with families. Our families ARE us. Their fates are no different. You can't make them safe until you risk them to make everyone safe. Too many are leaving that for others. THIS IS WHAT THE MURDERATING FUCKS TAKE TO THE BANK.

Of course, it would be optimal if you were in yer twenties, but, well, maybe you can use your daughters to attract some of those.... :o)
