'just trust us' about cia/blackwater assassination teams

Scahill's appearance by itself is here and here... but the whole show today covers a lot of currently hot issues... including healthcare reform....

So. Did Jarrett mean, just trust us to throw Blackwater under the bus for the crimes of the last administration? Or did she simply mean that Obama would be more careful about using them? Is this what Holder meant when he told David Swanson he'd be proud of his country when Swanson was questioning him about prosecutions for war crimes at a congressional hearing? WTF is going on here? Do you approve?

I DON'T! When I heard Golda Meir sent assassins against people viewed as enemies, I lost every drop of social conditioning to love and admire her. WHAT THE HELL CAN CAUSE US TO NATTER ABOUT 'RULE OF LAW' WHEN WE ARE DOING THIS ACTIVE FORM OF EXTRA-JUDICIAL KILLING?

I advise listening to Scahill's interview here very carefully and more than once. This is outrageous news.

[You should really listen to the whole show, though, to listen to Obama's BIG SMUG LIES about our position on the Honduran coup... since it has become abundantly clear that he is responsible for it.]
