I just went to see if maybe there was a new interview to hear, and there are FOUR new ones that must have just shown up. I thought for a moment to pick one of these mp3s to link, but decided it's better you pick for yourself. I've heard them all, some twice, except these four latest ones. I have to say, I am very grateful for GeorgeAnn Hughes. She has literally afforded me many hours of good listening, and I'd send her some of my no money if I could. If you have any, I hope you will send her some for me. No kidding. I can tell she's a great lady and I've listened to her come up with some amazingly cool things to say and ask about. She and her guests are usually well worth your earprints.

.

Okay, if you are persisting in being a judgmental twat, THIS ONE is about the JFK assassination. So if yer too lazy or too busy or too hypnotized to listen to the stuff about physics and tighter explanations for historical and current events, I know most of you will make time for JFK... because, if you wouldn't, neither would you ever read this blog....

.

And... in the last fifteen minutes or so they discuss the Egypt stuff: the elevation of Zahi Hawass to cabinet level; agents provocateurs; looters; hidden hands.... We're talking about someone HIGHLY intelligent and WELL educated—a doctorate from Oxford—talking about things with which he is NOT merely casually acquainted.

I am taking this opportunity to link the wild Hoagland theory again because I think lots of people on the feed missed it. I've been scratching my head about why they would choose to air the Lennon thing on the anniversary of JFK's assassination. Maybe PBS will be pairing it with something on JFK, hint to the general population that the two catastrophes for humanity have more in common than just that they were both beloved men who were shot to death.

I am up past my eyeballs with 'the world' and I try to go off and pay attention to my doctoral degree in Out There, my bodhisattva gig where I find out what people think and how they think and get enough understanding to be able to speak their lingo, and suddenly all that's coming up in my little universe of Out There specialists is THE most unbelievable crap. Some exploitative old witch in Missouri and some UTTER charlatan whose name is known in bliss ninny circles and I'm ready to start batting buildings into the sky in the best tradition of Popeye AFTER his spinach. We are doomed if these people are the ones we must rely on. The ninny exploiters AND the humanity exploiters.
Nato reaches missile shield deal
Alliance agrees to expand Europe-based defence system, but bows to Turkish concerns over naming Iran as a threat.
Last Modified: 20 Nov 2010 | 04:11 GMT

Nato leaders have approved plans to expand a European missile defence system that would protect all of the military alliance's member nations including the US.

Barack Obama, the US president, announced the agreement on Friday at the end of the first day of a summit of leaders from the 28-member grouping in Lisbon, the Portuguese capital.

The system would add security to the US's own system based in North America.

"For the first time, we've agreed to develop a missile defence capability that is strong enough to cover all Nato European territory and populations as well as the United States," Obama said.

He said that the shield "offers a role for all of our allies, it responds to the threats of our times. It shows our determination to protect our citizens from the threat of ballistic missiles".

"An attack on one Nato member is an attack on all,'' he said.

However, officials were careful not to suggest where the ballistic missile threat could come from after Nato-member Turkey raised objections to a system specifically designed to stop attacks from Iran.

Turkey's concerns

"We are categorically opposed to have a country named [as a threat] and our request appears to have been accepted," Abdullah Gul, the Turkish president, told reporters before leaving Ankara, the Turkish capital, to attend the summit.

"Turkey cannot join a project that is aimed at a specific country," he said, stressing that Nato was a defensive alliance aimed at defending its members against any ballistic threat and is not an organisation designed "to intimidate and threaten".

"The project must cover all [Nato] members without exception ... It will not be aimed at Iran, we said it," he said.

Diplomats at the summit said there had been intense debate in the run-up to the summit about whether Iran should be targeted as a specific threat in the public document they adopt.

The US had asked Turkey, a Nato-member, to host some of the radar defences and to approve the proposal.

Turkey is mindful of its delicate position with neighbouring Iran and said it would refuse to sign a Nato document that names Iran as the threat in the final declaration.

"Turkey does not want to be the military front for Nato, it wants to be the diplomatic face of Nato in the Arab and Muslim world," Marwan Bishara, Al Jazeera's senior political analyst, said.

"But any state that would dare launch a missile against Europe would be obliterated the day after - so who would be so suicidal as to launch a missile against Europe?"

Nato compromise

Anita McNaught, Al Jazeera's correspondent in Istanbul, said: "The compromise that Nato seems to have arrived at, even ahead of this meeting, is that no countries will be cited and the stress will be on this being a defensive system and not an offensive one.

"[Turkey has] worked extremely hard in this region to deal with the perception of threat among its neighbours, to de-escalate the sense of jeopardy and danger and defensiveness and offensiveness ... that has caused so many problems."

McNaught said that Turkey also wanted to make sure that the system would in no way be used to protect Israel from attack.

"It [Turkey] wants to be clear that this system is for the defence of territories from Turkey's eastern border, westward. It wants to be sure this is not a 'proxy' defence system for Israel." she said.

"It does not want any of the intelligence gathered through this system to be shared with Israel."

'Urgent need'

Anders Fogh Rasmussen, Nato's secretary general, said that there was an urgent need for the new missile defence system.

"The fact is that more than 30 countries in the world have or are acquiring missile technologies, some of them can even hit targets in the Euro-Atlantic area. And we intend to build a missile defence system to defend against any of these threats."

The expanded system is expected to cost $273 million over the next 10 years, Rasmussen said.

Dmitry Medvedev, the Russian president, who will attend the summit on Saturday has previously fought against the missile shield, saying it was a threat to his country's own nuclear deterrence.

But Nato on Friday decided to invite Russia to join the defence shield, extending its protection across Russian territory.
I'd started out the day just about ready to record a rant, a dharma rant and upload it somewhere I could link you to, just so you could hear the intensity of this, but, no, I gotta save that for when I'm perfectly equanimous or it's worse than not going to help.

He's such a braggart, name-dropper confabulator that I have gotten to know exactly what I can skip, move the bar on the video player exactly as far as it takes till he's saying something again, but maybe people need all that blather to hear what he trots out for us.

good-bye al jazeera

Among the many other things it has come out that President Kennedy was doing and on the verge of doing, normalizing relations with Cuba was one of them. Today, we see al Jazeera reporting, in a fairly skeptical tone, a public appearance by Fidel. It is not the first one since his surgery. He has stood for photo ops with visiting dignitaries since then, and not the least of them was Hugo Chàvez. This is the second time in a few days they have provided me with not COMPLETE rubbish, but entirely too INCOMPLETE, and CAREFUL, information. They are 100% definitely NOT the al Jazeera we leapt to admire for the real information they put out so fearlessly.

I know, I know, a few well-placed slaughters of their personnel really can do wonders for a news organization... as it has for our NATION. This is NOT going to improve.

Welcome to hell.

Last real president is RIGHT. Just about everyone who knows their ass from a teakettle has concluded this, and, unfortunately, every putz in the White House since has felt real presidentin' to be too hazardous to their health. IT'S TO THE POINT WHERE THIS IS SO CLEAR THAT WE CAN FORMALLY REVILE ANYONE WHO RUNS FOR PRESIDENT. If they are not wittingly wanting to get in and hold that BOGUS position, they're too ignorant and blind to be worthy of our votes.

Beside all the proofs being declassified and unearthed from the various geopolitical reärrangents that have unequivocally shown that major components of what we have all thought we have known have been, hugely, outright balderdash, there is the trifling matter of the need to discern what actually lies behind the sociopathic comportment of our power elite.

I must remind you to turn off your tv. I must remind you of all the times you caught your schoolbooks out... all the known lies you once were led to believe were true. I must remind you that authority does NOT equal veracity, that the common human mentality DOES seek backing, DOES wish to believe in common with its peers, and THIS IS USED AGAINST US. I must remind you that it is a lethal kind of laziness and timidity—FAR more than stupidity—at the heart of ignorance.

The people out there trying to piece together all the truth that has been HIDDEN from us may have their own blind spots and biases that lead them to speculate astray, but I'm finding that even the wackiest of them are—when viewed from a completely objective standpoint—more lucid than what we are faced with in the mainstream.

I'm tired of trying to yank that swinging watch from in front of your eyes in the mass hypnosis that we call our culture. You have to be able to step back from it, jump out of it, start using your intelligence for something beside material capable of walking a hairdo around in this world. That old saw about oh-so-everybody-else-is-wrong-and-you-are-right? being the metric by which you adjust your confusion into focus needs to be stomped to death. You have to drop your conditioning, quit looking at leaders and politicians and movie stars and tradition as authoritative. You have to DISCERN for yourself what is real, who is truthful, why things are how they are. We don't stand a chance if you don't get to it.

Bust out of your box.
.

For instance: many, if not most, of these people subscribe to the theory of humans being of alien origin, that space aliens came down and did some genetic engineering to produce humans, perhaps as workers... their slaves... or perhaps just because they could. This comes primarily from reading very ancient texts that have been taken as mythology by mainstream academia for a very long time. These people decided to try reading it more along the lines of the truth, using ancient metaphor. We also just heard how the identical DNA from stem cells, when put into different growth media, grows completely different types of tissues. In case you didn't notice, this blows Richard Dawkins ALL the way out of the water... makes him a dead fish in the air. Decimates the entire present state of the theory of evolution, at least as it pertains to humans. But, but, DON'T be confused by the facts, and DON'T be so gauche as to mention this in public.
.

I had to completely disregard my feeling that alien origin makes vastly more sense to me than either evolutionism or creationism in order to HEAR this, and become able to hear other things in their proper context.
.

So, THEN what do you make of wild men like this guy, or these guys? Remembering that JFK, and Eisenhower before him, were making very clear warnings about enemies infiltrating our very government, that malign forces were at work to do us in, to act something along the lines of a parasite in the course of gaining the power to take total control, do these guys sound that wacky anymore?

Do you still want to just completely ignore what these people have to say because they are operating outside the mainstream? That mainstream that has been chummed along to yielding 54% of the American population agreeing that torture, in some circumstances anyway, or on some people, is okay? The one that has more people voting for this year's American Idol than ever do for president? The one that holds a whole physics—one that can be engineered, built, put into use—as nonexistent? The one that doesn't even teach its MBAs that our monetary system is fractional reserve fiat currency monetized debt from a PRIVATE bank that only pretends to be public? That mainstream?

Honestly, I know some MBAs, from prestigious schools, who do NOT know the actuality of our monetary system, or of the Fed. I know mainstream mathematicians and AI researchers and have connections to all manner of different scientific disciplines. I ask, and these guys not only don't know this stuff, but spit out the same pathetic approved lines in response to questioning. If I persist, they suddenly get too busy to engage in these exchanges. You've probably witnessed the whole truth about 9/11 thing shaking out into Accepted Doctrine vs. Conspiracy Theory... without regard to any actuality beyond what is easiest to adopt in public. Don't tell me you don't grok what I'm saying here.

You know, when I first got online and started reading all these fantastic assertions on supposedly well-respected sites, I felt compelled to email the proprietors demanding they give me some credentials, some means of gauging their veracity. It wasn't until I got back a bewildered response that I realized I had NEVER needed that from television and newspapers and magazines and even books... that, even as someone who never swallows whole whatever comes my way, I had to have been letting all kinds of complete crap filter into my consciousness and become the basis for other judgments. I remember vividly when the notion that Putin might not be ANYTHING like the portrait painted of him in the mainstream ripped open a vast sector of my mindscape, allowing fresh air and sunlight to return it from a dark and stagnant pocket into a living system again.
.

I don't post all this crazy stuff just to be colorful. I am very happy if you are entertained, informed, consoled, whatnot, but there's more driving me here. I'm not doing it for me.

I took one look at him and said, "He didn't do it." His expression was this amazing mixture of rage and bewilderment and stoicism and other things I don't know how to express, but I was dirt positive about it the moment I saw him on tv. So maybe you can imagine how I felt when he was assassinated the next day. I loved Kennedy and was plenty upset about that, but this patsy being slaughtered upset me as much at the time... maybe still does, just for different reasons.

I linked this because it is good counterpoint to our fascist media... a reminder... evidentiary....

But in doing so I came across a playlist of Oswald's mother reading letters he'd sent her from Russia, and thought you might be interested in those too.
