PLEASE GO TO THE NINES FROM NOW ON

.

Kindly adjust yer settings. Kindly bookmark it, and you can always come back here if you miss the sidebar or the labels or whatever, but I'm going to stop blogging here, and start blogging there right away. They say it takes up to three days for the intertubes to realize you're there so you might not have much luck googling it for a while.

Here's the feed link for feedheads, but I promise the new place will be easier to load and maybe even more monitor-friendly for most.

Sorry for any inconvenience, but it was time.

the marvelous, the illimitable and inimitable, the beautiful farrakhan

.

As you know, I'm batshit crazy for Minister Farrakhan. This snippet is too short. He makes some pristine points in it, but I'm worried the oceans of people hypnotized against him need more.

This will be where I stash anything Libya-related today, so, erm, uh, FEEDHEADS! Yer gonna have to click in to get the full deal on these posts that keep updating. Nukequake and Libya are updating like mad this weekend, but, really, ALL my posts are subject to updates and revisions over as much as a whole day. I CAN'T HELP IT. I do NOT think in linear blog. You CANNOT accuse me of not trying, but basically I question the value of it in the long run. It's great for others' linkage needs, but not for everyone's raised consciousness... which is my bag.

It could be that simply having a page that acts something like a blackboard would be of great value... except you'd have to be an archival genius to make it resonate with the intertubes....

.

This isn't what democracy looks like... at al, at all, at all.

.

ATTENTION HATFIELDS AND McCOYS:

I emailed the Farrakhan link to my Tea Party friend, and this was his response: "Well for once I must say I agree with him."

.

Bleak outlook:
Hours after the attacks, sources in Libya have reported that three medical facilities were bombarded. Two were hospitals and one a medical clinic. These were civilian facilities. Al-Tajura Hospital was hit as was Saladin Hospital in Ain Zara. The clinic that was bombed was also located in the vicinity of Tripoli, the Libyan capital. Not only where these civilian structures, but they were also all far away from the combat zone. ...

According to internal Libyan sources, two French jets were also shot down by the Libyan military near Janzour (Janzur/Zanzur). Another French military jet was shot down by the Libyans near Anjile. People in Benghazi are also fleeing the Libyan city, because of the war. Surt (Sidra) and Misratah have also been attacked by the French, the U.S., the British and their coalition allies.

The U.S. and its allies are now the ones that are creating a real humanitarian disaster. They talk about peace while they arm the Benghazi-based opposition rebels via the Egyptian military junta, which is as much a military client as its so-called civilian predecessor. This is also a violation of the United Nations Security Council resolution that the U.S. and its allies passed, which states that no weapons are to be sent to Libya.

Hillary Clinton was in both Tunisia and Egypt in context of the operations against Libya. Both the regime in Tunis and the military junta in Cairo are overtly and covertly supporting the war against Libya. The autocrats of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) have also indictated that they will send military forces to attack Libya.
Chossudovsky warned this is our fourth war theater... everybody seems to forget PAKISTAN.

.

Fooled again:
The truth has come to light. Clearly this rebellion does not, and did not, have the massive popular support that we were led to believe. Otherwise, the US would not have had to so blatantly intervene. The Obama regime has made various statements about the evils of Qaddafi (Clinton even saying that he WOULD commit atrocities if left alone), and has -in true Bush fashion- claimed that we are trying to help the people of Libya. This entire situation is beginning to seem like Bush redux. The propaganda and lies are flying fast and furious, and the only people that will truly suffer are the people of Libya (who will, as the innocent victims of Imperialism always do, bear the brunt of the death and destruction the US causes).

The Obama regime has changed its populist slogan "Yes we can!" to the dictatorial "Yes you will!", and we have been caught in the trap again. ...

I would ask the world: Who is the real enemy? Which government is the real rogue government? Which regime should be defeated?
Good question, no?

.

DEPARTMENT OF BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR:
The Arab League on Sunday criticized Western military strikes on Libya, a week after urging the United Nations to slap a no-fly zone on the oil-rich North African state.

"What has happened in Libya differs from the goal of imposing a no-fly zone and what we want is the protection of civilians and not bombing other civilians," Arab League secretary general Amr Mussa told reporters.

"From the start we requested only that a no-fly zone be set up to protect Libyan civilians and avert any other developments or additional measures," Mussa added.
Woops....

.

Just listen. DOES THAT SOUND LIKE A NO FLY ZONE TO YOU?

aha

.

Whilst watching the video at the very bottom of the linked post I finally had my aha moment about just how HAARP could, in fact, be responsible for creating earthquakes and worsening storms... if not maybe creating those too. I have been basing most of my willingness to pay attention to the controversy on the fact that Hugo Chavez and others of similar stature also have been convinced of it, but now I get how it can happen. So I recommend the few moments the video takes out of your day as definitely worthwhile.

There are other startling things on that page, but that one stuck out for me.

.

Also, as a reminder to feed heads, I very frequently update posts willy nilly and can't seem to help myself. So lots of things you got on the feed, whatever feed you use, including the Blogger Following one, is only going to give you the first bit, or maybe what bits have hit the feed by the time you've clicked in on it, and NOT any of the updates and additions. I guess this should be a reminder for everyone who comes straight in off a bookmark or Google, too. You should scroll down over stuff you've already seen once in a while to see if I've tacked on more blather or riveting bits.

For instance, last night I ended up coming up with all kinds of ugly factoids that are extremely important to your state of general knowledge and preparedness relative to what's becoming known as the Nuclear Quake. This morning I was reminded that half that evacuation radius around Fukushima is OCEAN... tides... TIDES.... If I can track down a good way to get you that audio, I will add it here or here. I might add anything here. You shouldn't just trust that my first burst is going to be it. This just seems to be the way I bake. If you don't mind me half-baked, then carry on....

hillary 'count olaf' clinton slams iran regime for hypocrisy

.

Can't make this stuff up.

I hope the Gucci protestors in Iran choke on it. I don't like theocracy. I wouldn't live under Sharia Law. But most of Iran wants it, and their regime has kept them safe from another U.S./Britain puppet doing at least as bad as Mubarak in Egypt ever did. So my solidarity is with them. The rich kids in Tehran who want public displays of affection and thongs sticking out from their mid-butt jeans are taking this opportunity to get some more beautiful young women slaughtered by back ops to help further fascism into Iran. We can always hope HuffPo is busy with Bieber or that Lohan thing, but I'm in no mood to check.

I have decided that Hillary is now "Count Olaf" as in Lemony Snickets... rent the movie if you need further details, and Obama is Barackhenaten, the sociopath pharaoh who was driven out of Egypt millennia ago, which you would know all about if you'd been listening to Michael Tsarion... but, in any case, in case you need to decode the nicknames, I thought I'd announce them.

looting antiquities

.

I know Toucans are not from Egypt, but there is a connection between ancient Egypt and ancient America and I want to contemplate that instead of all this creepy stuff I'm also attending.
Former Egyptian museum director Wafaa el-Saddik said the National Museum in Cairo was looted by its own security guards and that the Memphis Museum, south of Cairo, was "completely emptied" by looters.

"I alerted an army general but it was too late," he said.

Looters also emptied an entire warehouse at the Qantara Museum, near the city of Ismailia, that contained 3000 objects from the Roman and Byzantine periods, a tourism police source said.

Egyptian museum official Mohamed Megahed said there had been "immense damage" to the ancient burial grounds of Abusir and Saqqara.

"Only the Imhotep Museum and adjacent central areas were protected by the military. In Abusir, all tombs were opened with gangs digging day and night," he said.
It seems the looting has been quite more extensive than I've seen so far, and I'm bummed about this, and:
This lies in the background of President Mubarak’s appointment of Egypt’s antiquities Tsar, Zahi Hawass, to a cabinet level post. Given Hawass’ own background and connections to the western elites, this is not a surprising move, but it is one that subtly implies that elite’s interest in Egyptian antiquities.
So I, along with the irascible Phil, am not feeling comforted by this elevation of the prime headache for Egyptologists... often seemingly completely at whim.

Anyway, It's 11am in Cairo, and hour before Friday prayers, and Tahrir Square is already full. In addition, there are people blocking ingress to State TV and various government offices and no word of the contingent that lit out for Mubarak's palace last night, but more on the way.

The army brass have been meeting this morning—without Mubarak or Suleiman—and have promised a statement before prayers. So I will try to stay awake for it... but I'm fading fast....

The people seem to hotly desire that the military take over the interim government. They want them to take out the regime. This is a very, very popular opinion, with also quite a few who feel Mubarak has been tamed and they can wait a few more months. Some of those will be wishing that out of gratitude for what they think Mubarak did for them in the past, some out of weariness and fear, and some because their businesses are tanking beyond help if this goes on much longer.

They are expecting 20 million demonstrators across the nation today.

I'm hoping the military will just announce to everyone before any violence kicks up that they have escorted Mubarak out of the palace and will be running things and facilitating the writing of the new "connestetution" is being written... but you know me. Fairy dust hippie and all....

This post, as with yesterday's, will likely be updating all day, so the people on the feed might want to know that.

darn darn darn

I think I'm done screwing with my posts now, for the day, and I kind of wish I'd gone to bed before checking my news feed again.
Jack LaLanne, the fitness guru who inspired television viewers to trim down, eat well and pump iron for decades before diet and exercise became a national obsession, died Sunday. He was 96.

LaLanne died of respiratory failure due to pneumonia Sunday afternoon at his home in Morro Bay on California's central coast ...

He maintained a youthful physique and joked in 2006 that "I can't afford to die. It would wreck my image." ...

LaLanne (pronounced lah-LAYN') credited a sudden interest in fitness with transforming his life as a teen, and he worked tirelessly over the next eight decades to transform others' lives, too.

"The only way you can hurt the body is not use it," LaLanne said. "Inactivity is the killer and, remember, it's never too late."
I'm gonna go for a long tromp in the woods tomorrow. Jack was right.

.

Oooh, nooooo....
A $21.7 billion development fund backed by celebrities and hailed as an alternative to the bureaucracy of the United Nations sees as much as two-thirds of some grants eaten up by corruption, The Associated Press has learned. ...

It was on the sidelines of Davos that rock star Bono launched a new global brand, (Product) Red, which donates a large share of profits to the Global Fund. Other prominent backers include former U.N. secretary-general Kofi Annan, French first lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy and Microsoft founder Bill Gates, whose Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation gives $150 million a year.

The fund's inspector general, John Parsons, said donors should be reassured that the fund is serious about uncovering corruption: "It should be viewed as a comparative advantage to anyone who's thinking about putting funds in here."
CRIKEY!

Documented evidence of war crimes....

Ya think....?

Wasn't I just screaming about pre-crime...?

Damned excuses....

Pfeh....

Being evil again....

I wish Jesse were president....

Chewing up the Palestine Papers....

About the damn depressing size of it....

Got off with no time, but immediately arrested again... aaaaaiaiayeeee....

Creepy how short this page is, no?

I'm going to have to go to bed almost as soon as I get up, right after my tromp in the trees, now, to get back the coveted early to bed and early to rise thing. All because of Jack LaLanne being followed by badly erring celebrities. RIP, Jack. You're well out of it.

oh good oh good oh good

I have been obsessively checking my YouTube subscriptions for something elevatingly Out There to concentrate on, but it's mostly been total blather being uploaded for the past few days. Blather can be fine if there is some redeeming value contained in the discussion, but, well, it's been darn scarce and I so have been checking.

I love thinking about Klaus Dona's stuff. I don't know if he's bullshitting us, or partially bullshitting and partially not, but thinking about the stuff he brings up is a mind opening sort of entertainment at the very least. So, after having given up and set myself about scrounging up for you the link after link after link of psychedelic news below, I am rewarded with a nice relaxing listen.

Welly, welly, welly, bonus points....

nice way to start my day

.

I may just pile up links in this post today. I've been doing that a lot lately... so all you unconcerned types on the feed are probably missing many bits... including all the times I go back to make something clearer or flesh out the scene after I've gotten more coffee, amassed more brain cells, or the winds of inspiration blow back through. These are the hazards of just letting the cyber gods deliver up your content. I just think you oughta remember to stop and smell the roses every so often.

Phil left me this song in comments in the middle of the night, and so it was here for me when I got up. This is amazing because Phil is so totally into head banger heavy metal blast yer brains out music. I have to try to put eardrum warnings on his stuff... but this, now this is the kind of music we should all be listening to around the clock, and since it's Festivus, et cetera, I let you in on it.

.

Dump BofA....

No... really... do you want a BANK ACCOUNT where they dictate how you spend
YOUR money? It's like I said when my mother first told me you had to put money in
to get money out: That's the craziest thing I ever heard.

This is a GOOD thing....

Senate Republicans on Saturday doomed an effort that would
have given hundreds of thousands of young illegal immigrants a path to legal status
if they enrolled in college or joined the military.

It would have given them a limitless supply of cannon fodder for
conquering the world.
[I know, I know, they've got it anyway, but THERE AREN'T ANY JOBS and the continued lure
for more immigrants keeps driving wages ever lower.
IT'S ONLY DRIVING US ALL FURTHER DOWN.
Come up with a better idea. The whole world is turning third.
Wrong direction.]

Got out of the tub just in time....

"The repeal of 'don't ask, don't tell' will be implemented in a common sense way,"
said Ohio Republican Sen. George Voinovich. "Our military leaders have assured Congress
that our troops will engage in training and address relevant issues before instituting this policy change."

This sensitivity training for hardened old Marines ought to be loaded with giggles.
My formal congratulations to queers everywhere! You are nearing "normal" at last.

Latest update on the perennial Biden vs. Biden thing....

Antiwar's antiwar Horton holds forth....

Heavily-recommended listening for all too frightened proto-flakes....

Florida definitely seems to get the most visits from space aliens....

[That would be about Jebby for sure.]

THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE?

.
Do not help them. Do not support them. Do not spend your energy and passion and intellect on earnest analyses of the twists and turns of their political fates. They are doing evil. Do not be part of it. Support instead those who try to speak the truth. Stand with them. It is their fate — not the fate of the petty, brutal power-seekers — which will determine the meaning of our times and the future of our species.
